Anunciamos la incorporación del cortometraje de ficción titulado "California", escrito y dirigido por el cineasta Albert Mariné y producido por ECIR FILMS SL, (Escola de Cinema de Reus). Se trata de un cortometraje muy fresco por el uso de su narrativa, a la vez que estremecedor por su trama y temática, se trata de un drama que propone un ejercicio de estilo muy personal. Valiente y eficaz la dirección de Mariné, y hay una grandísima complicidad entre las protagonistas, brillan Cristina Colom (personaje de Silvia, la madre) y Jana Juan (la hija de Silvia). Además este cortometraje que dura 13 minutos, está rodado en L’Ametlla de Mar (Tarragona) y en idioma catalán, su sinopsis se nos presnta así: Silvia, en ausencia de su pareja y padre de su hija, intenta seguir adelante por sí misma dentro del único mundo que conoce, frecuentado por influencias y hábitos que entorpecen su capacidad de ser madre. Por su parte, la niña debe espabilarse sola si quiere desayunar y llegar cada día a la hora a la escuela frente a una madre cada vez más abstraída. El cortometraje consigue el combo perfecto: entretener, sorprender, reflexionar y emocionar al espectador. Los nichos para su distribución son: Asuntos sociales, Drogas, Empleo, Familia, Infancia, Mujer, Parejas, Salud y Salud mental. Ya cuenta además con una Sección Oficial en un Festival nacional pre-seleccionador a los Premios Goya, que se celebra en julio aunque aún no podemos aún hacerlo oficial, pero lo haremos muy pronto, ¡estad atentos! ¡Enhorabuena al equipo, comenzamos, y arrancamos ya con la Distribución en los mejores Festivales!
