Myrte Sara Huyts (Los Países Bajos, 1986) publicó por primera vez a los 16 años. Escribió para la revista el Groene Amsterdammer y para el periódico De Volkskrant, publicó poesía y escribió obras de teatro, entre otros en colaboración con la Academia de Drama en Tilburg. Ganó varios concursos de relato y de poesía, entre otros de la revista CJP magazine, de Volkskrant y Op Ruwe Planken. Recientemente, escribió una obra de teatro que se estrenó en Berlín. Myrte se ha graduado con honores en Literatura. Actualmente reside en Madrid, donde trabaja como guionista. ´Cruda´ es su primer trabajo como directora.

Myrte Sara Huyts (The Netherlands, 1986)  first published at age 16. She wrote for the magazine Groene Amsterdammer and for the newspaper De Volkskrant, published poetry and wrote plays, including in collaboration with the Drama Academy in Tilburg. She won several story and poetry competitions, including the CJP magazine magazine, de Volkskrant and Op Ruwe Planken. Recently, she wrote a play which premiered in Berlin. Myrte graduated with honors in Literature. Presently she´s living in Madrid, where he works as a screenwriter. The short film ‘Cruda’ is her first work as a director.

DUTCH
Myrte Sara Huyts (1986) publiceerde voor het eerst op 16-jarige leeftijd. Ze schreef onder andere voor de Groene Amsterdammer en de Volkskrant, publiceerde poezie o.a. in Krakatau en schreef toneel in samenwerking met de Academie voor Drama in Tilburg. Ze won verschillende verhalen- en poeziewedstrijden, onder andere van CJP magazine, de Volkskrant en Op Ruwe Planken. Recentelijk schreef ze met anderen een theaterstuk dat in Berlijn werd opgevoerd. Myrte is cum laude afgestudeerd in Literatuurwetenschap. Op dit moment woont ze in Madrid, waar ze als scriptschrijver werkt. De korte film ´Cruda´ is haar regiedebuut.
