Sus trabajos han sido proyectados en más de 250 Festivales por más de 30 países, consiguiendo varios premios nacionales e internacionales. Entre sus trabajos destacan los cortometrajes “The story of David Leonard Sutton” (2010), con más de 70 selecciones en festivales, “Rött Hår / Svart (Pelirrojo negro)” (2011) co-dirigido con Luis Ángel Pérez, con más de 50 festivales y diversos premios nacionales e internacionales, “Gerónimo” (2012), que acumula 30 festivales y “2ºA” (2012), que ha lleva en su haber más de 100 selecciones y 10 premios nacionales e internacionales. En 2014 coproduce junto con Visiona dos nuevos microcortos, “Eufemismos”, un cortometraje de denuncia social en foma de metáfora y cine negro y “Oasis Refinado” que significa su primera incursión en el género documental. Desde Marzo de 2012 es el responsable de la Distribuidora de cortometrajes LINE UP Shorts – Short Film Distribution. ENGLISH Alfonso Díaz (1983. Como actor ha trabajado en más de diez producciones del Centro Dramático Nacional y de la Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico, con directores como Ernesto Caballero, Eduardo Vasco, Alfredo Sanzol, Fernando Bernués, Ana Zamora o Ignacio García May. En Euskadi ha participado en espectáculos de otras compañías entre las que destaca Tanttaka, (El hijo del acordeonista, Zazpi aldiz elur, La calma mágica, Soka (Cuerda))… Además, ha dirigido una decena de espectáculos teatrales para distintas agrupaciones: Kulunka (Andre y Dorine, Solitudes), Teatro Paraíso (Pulgarcito), Vaivén (Happy End), El gato negro (Ildebrando Biribó, La lengua de las mariposas), Ganso y Cía (Babia), KatuBeltz (SísifoB), Tanttaka (El sueño de una noche de verano)... También es autor de varias versiones y textos teatrales. (GrisMate, SísifoB, QuitamiedoS, Pulgarcito, HappyEnd, Romina y Julito, Herencia…) y de algunos cortometrajes (Pizza, Paz, MeaCulpa, PiCsa) Entre sus premios y nominaciones destacan Espectáculo Revelación de Euskadi en los Premios Max 2008 (GrisMate), Premio Barroco Infantil del Festival de Almagro (Pulgarcito), Mejor espectáculo Internacional Festival de la Habana 2011, Mejor dramaturgia y Premio del Público BeFestival Birmingham 2012 (André y Dorine) Premio Max a Mejor Espectáculo Teatral 2018 (Solitudes), Premio Ojo Crítico de RNE 2018 (Kulunka), Finalista en los Premios Max a Mejor Actor Protagonista (Soka) ------- AITOR DE KINTANA Vitoria-Gasteiz 1981 Titulado como Técnico Superior en Realización de Audiovisuales y Espectáculos en el Instituto Mendizabala de Vitoria-Gasteiz (1999-2001), donde realiza dos cortometrajes "Aperitivo Nocturno" (2000) y "Síndrome de Abstinencia" (2001), ambos con una mención honorífica en el festival de vídeo de Sant Joant d’Alacant. En los años posteriores tabaja en Madrid como cámara, realizador, editor, maquinista, y sobre todo, eléctrico. Entre sus trabajos como realizador destacan algunos trabajos, como los video-clips "I can't win" (The Dealers), "Salgai" y "Belduraren Aroa" (Eratu), o el reportaje-documental “TDF Signo” dentro del Tenerife Design Festival. En 2007 estudia guión, consiguiendo una subvención para su guión de largomentraje "La Piedad de Dios" (2008). En 2013 cursa sus estudios teatrales en la escuela de Mar Navarro, donde imparten técnica Lecoq. Al acabar la escuela, continúa sus estudios con diversos monográficos y en este tiempo se involucra en varios proyectos teatrales y audiovisuales. En 2018 retoma su faceta de director, rodando “Pizza” junto a Iñaki Rikarte, el proyecto ve la luz a primeros de 2019. BIOFILMOGRAFÍA DIRECTORES Los Hermanos Prada son dos directores asturianos que comenzaron su andadura cinematográfica en 2004 con el premio obtenido en el “42 Festival del Cine Gijón: No nos cuentes películas ¡Hazlas!”, por el documental “Por Tí”. Ese mismo año se trasladan a la Universidad de Ponferrada para cursar la diplomatura de Cinematografía y Artes visuales en la rama de Dirección y Guión Cinematográfico. Durante este periodo realizan distintos trabajos que son seleccionados en festivales nacionales e internacionales. En 2007 realizan el cortometraje “Humanos con Patatas”, el cual obtiene diferentes premios tanto nacionales como internacionales. Cabe destacar “Mejor corto” en el encuentro de Jóvenes realizadores de Cinema Jove de ese mismo año o el “Premio a la Mejor Dirección” en Cortos de Allí de Aquí . Esta obra obtiene más de 80 selecciones en festivales nacionales e internacionales en las cuales cabe destacar las de “Sitges 07” “Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre (Argentina)” o el “Macabro Film Festival (Mexico)” o “New York City Horror Film Festival (EEUU). En 2008 se selecciona su corto fin de carrera “Carla” en el “Sitges 08” y se les hace una retrospectiva en la sección Brigadoon titulada “Hermanos Prada en busca del plano perfecto” En 2009 realizan su cortometraje “Estación de Carretera” el cual obtiene premios y selecciones nacionales e internacionales. En 2010 crean su propia productora The Other Side Films en la cual realizan distintos trabajos audiovisuales y distribución de cortometrajes con distintos reconocimientos dentro y fuera de su país. En el año 2011 el II Festival de Cortos con Ñ, les hace entrega del galardón “Cortometrajista Ejemplar”. ENGLISH “For the cinnamon flower” invites us to explore the sexist and violent nature of songs spanning from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Throughout this journey we will become aware of how often we sing songs that we have heard but rarely listened to. BIOFILMOGRAFÍA DIRECTOR / DIRECTOR’S BIOFILMOGRAPHY ESPAÑOL María Sánchez Testón (Cáceres, 09/01/1984) Estudió Comunicación Audiovisual en la UEx. Después se trasladó a Madrid donde cursó un master de realización en el IRTVE. Apasionada de la experimentación audiovisual, realizó dos cortometrajes “Autorretrato” y “Maleguas”. Con “Maleguas” consiguió una beca con la que se formó en la Escuela de cine de Cuba donde estudió dirección de Cine documental. En la Habana dirigió un cortometraje documental “La vida de la chispa”. Gracias a la concesión de la beca a la Creación joven del Gobierno de Extremadura en 2011 ha podido realizar el cortometraje documental “Por la flor de la canela”. Un documental que ha conseguido hasta la fecha numerosas selecciones, premios y menciones especiales en festivales de cine nacionales e internacionales y que ha sido seleccionado recientemente para su participación en la 28 Edición de Los Premios Goya 2014. En el mes de septiembre de 2012 finalizó su último proyecto: Encarna viva, su primer cortometraje de ficción y que se encuentra en fase de distribución y que ha conseguido sus primeras selecciones en reconocidos festivales de cine a nivel nacional e internacional. Recientemente acaba de recibir una de las 10 becas que ABC Guionistas concede para cursar el Master de Dirección y Producción de Cine Digital de la ULL 2013-2014 (Universidad de la Laguna- Sta. Cruz de Tenerife). En la actualidad se encuentra en fase de búsqueda de financiación para su próximo proyecto de ficción. ENGLISH María Sánchez Testón (Cáceres, Spain 01/09/1984) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Studies from the University of Extremadura (Spain) and a Master in Direction/ TV Production from the IRTVE (Madrid, Spain). Up to date, this documentary short film has earned several official selections, awards and special mentions in national and international film festivals, and has recently been selected for participating in the 28th edition of the Goya Awards 2014. In September 2013, she ended her last Project: Encarna Viva (Fresh Flesh), her first fiction short film, which is now being distributed and has earned its first selections in recognised national and international film festivals. She has recently received one of the ten grants given by ABC Guionistas for taking the Master in Direction and Production of Digital Cinema from La Laguna University 2013-2014 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain). Estudió Arte dramático en el Chrysalis Theatre Acting School de Londres, UK. Ha trabajado como actor en España en diferentes producciones de cine, teatro y TV. Coproduce e interpreta su primer corto, “Anonymous”, en el 2006, consiguiendo 28 premios internacionales en diferentes festivales de cine, siendo pre-seleccionado a los Oscars de Hollywood del 2009. Como director ha realizado tres documentales, “The Chrysalis Theatre Acting School”, “Rafael Altamira. Una generación excepcional” y “Paco”, y un corto de ficción, “The Magic Box”. “Mi Subteniente” es su cuarto cortometraje documental.
