Anunciamos la incorporación del cortometraje de ficción titulado "One of More", escrito y dirigido por David Van y producido por David Van & Lukas Hausenblas.
El director de Praga (Rep. Checa) repite con nosotros tras la distribución de su anterior trabajo, “Pa'lante” y cautiva una vez más con este drama psicológico de 13:51 minutos en el que nos plantea con exquisita creatividad, cómo los medios de comunicación han tenido una influencia negativa durante la pandemia Covid-19. La obra nos funde con la agonía psicológca de la protagonista, donde todo el peso recae magistralmente en la actriz Andrea Miltner.
David Van nos da unas pistas sobre la idea desarrollada con este trabajo en sus propias palabras: “Lo que vemos, leemos o escuchamos en los medios de comunicación a menudo puede distorsionar la realidad. En los últimos años, los medios de comunicación tienen realmente un poder más fuerte que nunca y a menudo lo utilizan sólo para transmitir información negativa e intimidatoria, especialmente en momentos tensos y cruciales, y esto puede ser destructivo para algunas personas."
Filmada en Scope por el director de fotografía y co-productor Lukas Hausenblas y rodado en Praga, su sinopsis nos cuenta cómo “ Emilie es una mujer solitaria de mediana edad que se esconde en el sótano de su casa del peligro cada vez mayor del mundo que la rodea. La única forma que tiene de estar al tanto de lo que ocurre realmente en el exterior es a través de las noticias de la televisión, que ve la mayor parte de su tiempo. Al cabo de unos meses, alejada de la realidad y con unas reservas de alimentos cada vez más escasas, un día se enfrenta a la decisión de superar su miedo y salir.”

We announce the addition of the fiction short film entitled "One of More", written and directed by David Van and produced by David Van & Lukas Hausenblas. The director from Prague (Czech Rep.) repeats with us after the distribution of his previous work, "Pa'lante" and captivates once again with this psychological drama of 13:51 minutes in which he presents us with exquisite creativity, how the media has had a negative influence during the Covid-19 pandemic. The play melts us with the psychological agony of the protagonist, where all the weight falls masterfully on the actress Andrea Miltner. David Van gives us some clues about the idea developed with this work in his own words: "What we see, read or hear in the media can often distort reality. In recent years, the media actually has a stronger power than ever before and often uses it just to convey negative and intimidating information, especially in tense and crucial moments, and this can be destructive for some people." Shot in Scope by cinematographer and co-producer Lukas Hausenblas and filmed in Prague, its synopsis tells us how "Emilie is a lonely middle-aged woman who hides in the basement of her house from the ever-increasing danger of the world around her. The only way she is aware of what is really going on outside is through the television news, which she watches most of the time. After a few months, detached from reality and with dwindling food reserves, one day she is faced with the decision to overcome her fear and go out." The short film has just finished its final cut and we start with the work of searching for the best festivals. We are on our way, much success!
