SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS

Inspirado en el Hombre de Vitruvio y el síndrome de Leonardo DiCaprio, “Leonardo” imagina un futuro cercano donde Néstor, tras perder a su pareja, busca consuelo en una réplica artificial de ella. Lo que comienza como un intento desesperado por revivir su relación parece funcionar... hasta que un evento inesperado lo trastoca todo.

Inspired by the Vitruvian Man and the Leonardo DiCaprio syndrome, “Leonardo” imagines a near future in which Néstor, after losing his partner, seeks comfort in an artificial replica of her. What begins as a desperate attempt to revive their relationship seems to work... until an unexpected event changes everything.

Álvaro G. Company (1991) y Meka Ribera (1988), cineastas alicantinos formados en Ciudad de la Luz, han cosechado más de 400 selecciones y 120 premios nacionales e internacionales con sus cortometrajes Mesa para 3 (2022) y Pequeño (2023). Tras colaborar con intérpretes como Adriana Ozores, Luis Zahera, Verónica Echegui o Fernando Cayo, presentan su nuevo trabajo conjunto: Leonardo (2025).
English:
Álvaro G. Company (1991) and Meka Ribera (1988), filmmakers from Alicante trained at Ciudad de la Luz, have reaped more than 400 selections and 120 national and international awards with their short films Mesa para 3 (2022) and Pequeño (2023). After collaborating with actors such as Adriana Ozores, Luis Zahera, Verónica Echegui or Fernando Cayo, they present their new joint work: Leonardo (2025).
