Daniel Chamorro se licenció en Ciencias de la Información por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y amplió estudios en México, Los Angeles y Berlín.
Como director, productor, guionista, ha realizado hasta ahora 17 cortometrajes de ficción y dos documentales. Cuenta con mas de 160 premios nacionales e internacionales por sus trabajos y casi 700 selecciones. La revista Variety en Cannes lo consideró uno de los próximos diez directores jóvenes
españoles emergentes. Como actor, ha co-protagonizado, junto a Elena Furiase, la película La boda, de Pedro Cenjor. También ha actuado en películas como “Escape”, “El buen patrón”, o “Akelarre” y series como "El día de Mañana" de Movistar +, "Criminal"de Netflix o “Bosé “de SkyShowtime. Como músico de cine, ha recibido premios como el del Festival de Lorca o el de Fimucité 2016.

Daniel Chamorro earned his degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, and furthered his studies in Mexico, Los Angeles, and Berlin. As a director, producer, and screenwriter, he has created 17 fiction short films and two documentaries to date. His work has received over 160 national and international awards, along with nearly 700 official selections. At the Cannes Film Festival, Variety magazine named him one of the top ten emerging young Spanish directors to watch. As an actor, he co-starred alongside Elena Furiase in La boda, directed by Pedro Cenjor. He has also appeared in films such as Escape, The Good Boss (El buen patrón), and Coven (Akelarre), as well as in TV series like El día de mañana(Movistar+), Criminal
(Netflix), and Bosé (SkyShowtime). As a film music composer, he has been awarded at festivals including Lorca and Fimucité 2016.
