SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS
ESPAÑOL
Tomás, un padre obrero que saca adelante a sus hijos con la ayuda de su madre, descubre que su hija adolescente tiene un teléfono de última generación que él no le ha comprado. Lo que empieza como un simple conflicto familiar por la preocupación de Tomás por saber de dónde ha sacado la niña un teléfono tan caro, destapa los peligros de un mundo digital donde la exposición a redes y el fácil acceso de los menores a cualquier tipo de contenido forman parte de l o cotidiano.

Tomás, a working-class father who raises his children with the help of his mother, discovers that his teenage daughter has a top-of-the-line phone that he has not bought for her. What begins as a simple family conflict due to Tomás's concern about where the girl got such an expensive phone , uncovers the dangers of a digital world where exposure to social media and easy access for minors to any type of content are part of everyday life.

Albert Mariné es músico, compositor y cineasta. Formado en la ECIR, obtiene el premio InSitu del FICVI con Conexiones (2019). En 2022 escribe y dirige California (2022), seleccionado en más de 30 festivales nacionales e internacionales como Sitges, SESIFF o Porto Bello, y premiado en Festimatge y FECEA. Ha dirigido obras como Basado en hechos reales, Solitario o Kuo-Tié, y co-dirige Formigues (2023), finalista del Notodofilmfest. En 2024 cursa un Máster en Cine Experimental en Berlín, donde rueda Reset y Muto (2024).

Albert Mariné is a musician, composer and filmmaker. Trained at ECIR, he won the InSitu Award at FICVI with Conexiones (2019). In 2022 he wrote and directed California (2022), selected at over 30 national and international festivals such as Sitges, SESIFF and Porto Bello, and awarded at Festimatge and FECEA. He has directed shorts including Based on Real Events, Solitario and Kuo-Tié, and co-directed Formigues (2023), finalist at Notodofilmfest. In 2024 he completed a Master’s in Experimental Cinema in Berlin, where he directed Reset and Muto (2024).
