ESPAÑOL

Se llamaba partida a un grupo de represaliados por la dictadura franquista que decidían unir fuerzas y sostén de vida mientras se escondían en los montes para no ser apresados y ajusticiados por los falangistas o la guardia civil.

ENGLISH

Partida was the name given to those groups of men who had fought against Franco and then, once they had lost the war, used to hide and help themselves while living in the mountains in order not to be arrested by the military forces.

Manuel Martínez Gómez (Manuel Gomar), nació en un pueblo de Sierra Mágina, Huelma, en la provincia de Jaén, en 1962. En 1986 se licencia en Filología Inglesa en la
Universidad de Granada. Ya en Huelva, y siendo profesor del Instituto La Orden, crea el grupo Arteatrozos en el año 1990, para el cual escribe y dirige, entre otras, Soledad y la sirena del amor, La quinta miseria y Con soltura. Las tres estrenadas en el Gran Teatro de Huelva. Desde hace algunos años comienza a formarse en temas audiovisuales relacionados con el cine. Ha escrito y dirigido los siguientes cortometrajes: “Espera y Verás” (2013), “Miedo me da (2014),
“La Bruma” (2014), “Fritas” (2015), “Inexistentes” (2016), “Pili tenía razón” (2017), "El recado" (2019) y "La partida" (2019)

ENGLISH
Manuel Martínez Gómez (Manuel Gomar), was born in 1962 at Sierra Mágina, Jaén. Has a degree in English Philology at the University of Granada. Later in Huelva, being teacher at La Orden High School, creates the Theater Group called Arteatrozos where he writes and directs the plays “Soledad y la sirena del amor”, “La quinta miseria” or “Con soltura”, all of them premiered at the Gran Teatro of Huelva. A few years ago, he starts to study Audiovisual and Cinema . He has written and directed several short films: “Wait and See” (2013), “Scared” (2014), “The Mist” (2014), “Skillets” (2015), “Illusive” (2016) and Pili was right (2017), "The message" (2019) and "The Partisans" (2019)
